Alex is a proud local farmer. He is the Chair of the Vermont Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers.
"Vermont has built its reputation on agriculture, yet too often our policies make it harder, not easier, for dairy farmers to survive. For generations, dairy farmers have cared for the land, created jobs, supported local businesses, and kept our rural communities strong. But today, not just dairy businesses, all businesses are facing rising property taxes, increasing regulations, higher energy and labor costs, and deeper financial burdens than needed."
